Why this blog?

Why this blog?

Before anything else, I’m a tech lover, and I’ve always wanted to be a computer engineer, so I decided to study it at university.

When I started learning programming languages, I quickly ran into a challenge: almost all the documentation is in English.

Since I live in Madagascar, where French is the second language, I found a few books in French that helped. But they weren’t as detailed or deep as the original ones in English.

One day, during a bit of research, I found a sentence that really hit me:

“If you want to get good at any programming language, the first language you need to improve is English.”

That made total sense to me because programming all over the world is done in English. So I started learning English seriously… and I slowly started falling in love with it, even though it’s not always easy.

Learning English feels like climbing a mountain exciting, challenging, and sometimes a little scary. That’s exactly why I started this blog.

I wanted a space to document my journey, step by step, as I learn English from scratch. But more than that, I wanted to create something for people like me, beginners, dreamers, and curious learners to feel encouraged and not alone.

This blog isn’t about being perfect. It’s about progress, small wins, mistakes, and learning in a fun and real way.

I’ll be sharing the tools I use, the things that confuse me, and the little tricks that actually work. Whether it’s vocabulary, grammar, or funny pronunciation mistakes, it’s all part of the adventure.

If you’re learning English too, or thinking about it, I hope this blog gives you some inspiration, ideas, and maybe even a few laughs.

Welcome to the journey — let’s do this together!
